Watch Kevin Parker, Grandmaster Flash & Mary J Blige Join Mark Ronson Onstage At Glastonbury

Here’s your chance at a little Splendour preview kids, care of producer extraordinaire Mark Ronson who was joined by the likes of Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker, Grandmaster Flash, George Clinton and Mary J. Blige this weekend on the hallowed Glastonbury stage.

First up was Kevin Parker, who Ronson introduced to the crowd as a member of his “favourite rock ‘n’ roll band, period”, before the two of them delivered super smooth renditions of Uptown Special tracks Daffodils and Summer Breaking.

The rest of Ronson’s set was also peppered with special guests, including Theophilus London, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, Australian crooner Daniel Merriweather and Keyone Starr – all of whom will be joining Mark Ronson when he comes to Australia as part of Splendour In The Grass.

Still, the pièce de résistance was of course Ronson’s biggest hit to date, Uptown Funk, which he saved until last. Here he introduced a trio of special guests including Grandmaster Flash, George Clinton and Mary J Blige.

Check out the performances below.

Then, while you’re at it, catch up on our coverage of Glastonbury, including Florence and the Machines spectacular Foo Fighters cover and what happened when Kanye West’s set was interrupted by a stage invader.
