Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus’ New Single ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ Is Here

Producer extraordinaire Mark Ronson has returned with the Miley Cyrus-featuring ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’, the first single from his upcoming (and still untitled) fifth studio album.

The song’s literal car crash of a music video stars Cyrus, who sings and drives down a highway, pursued by police. Ronson joins her in the end, but not before the clip tackles some of the biggest cultural issues currently facing America.

‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ was co-written by Ronson and Cyrus (and a team of other writers), and was produced by Ronson with some additional production from The xx’s Jamie XX.

The track marks Ronson’s latest release since co-writing the track ‘Shallow’, which was performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in the new film A Star Is Born. The muso has also been working on an album with SZA and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, but it’s still unclear if that will ever see the light of day.

Mark Ronson released his latest solo album Uptown Special in 2015. His upcoming record will also feature Lykke Li, King Princess and Arkansas singer-songwriter Yebba.
