Watch: Lana Del Rey Performs ‘Carmen’ Live In London

A video has emerged of our new favourite viral songstress, Lana Del Rey, performing track nine, Carmen, from her debut album Born To Die. The song was captured at London’s Camden Jazz Cafe for an intimate crowd of lucky people.

The video sees Del Rey perform the song in its most stripped-back form, only accompanied by a piano. The singer is sporting a trashy ‘Guns N Roses’ top, which could be seen as an attempt to reignite rumours about her and Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose, who recently informed the world that he would not be attending the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction for his band, with some saying it is due to the fact that the organisers could not accommodate his ego.

The fan-made video is of a surprisingly high quality and has already clocked up over 2,000 views, with almost all reviews positive. It is a much more engaging performance than the one we saw on Letterman only months ago; I think it’s fair to say that she has come a long way since then.
