Watch Pearl Jam Pay Tribute To Departed Celebrity Chef, Anthony Bourdain

Class act Pearl Jam have dedicated their recent show in Amsterdam to a couple of special people we lost this past week, celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain and designer Kate Spade.

Taking to the stage at the Dutch capital’s Ziggo Dome, the Seattle rock legends’ frontman Eddie Vedder paid tribute to the pair, addressing the crowd first in Dutch and then English.

“We dedicate this to Anthony [Bourdain], my friend David [Spade], his brother Andrew [Spade],” Vedder said, referring to the brother-in-law and husband of Kate Spade. “They are deep in our hearts tonight and we thank you.”

Vedder then launched into an obscure yet appropriate track, Merkinball B-side, ‘Long Road’.

Watch the touching scene go down in the fan-shot video below.
