Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction, Serj Tankian, Warren G, and Meat loaf have all appeared in a recent Funny or Die sketch about potential celebrities being judged on a reality TV show so they can be picked as potential judges themselves for various music themed shows like American Idol, The Voice etc.
Although it’s probably not the most over-the-top or hilarious thing you’ll ever see on the internet, it does have a wide range of talent, sending up on versions of themselves. Others include Rebecca Black and Natalie Imbruglia.
Farrell tries to take on the persona of the rock star saying, “You always need the rocker. I don’t see why I couldn’t do what Steven Tyler’s doing”, Then screaming: “I like it!”, while Tankian comes in with a quarrelsome attitude, “What the fuck is this, a barber’s chair?”, before giving the panel some enlightenment: “The true light beings, past life, do not judge. They ask you for your experience, and they say, ‘Where do you want to go next?’ And you judge! What the fuck?”.
Warren G and Meatloaf demonstrate their skills at using a ‘reality show chair’ as G attempts to show his best button pressing, while Meat Loaf shows his best ‘chair swinging’ technique.
