Thinking back to 2005, it won’t take much to bring back the memories of R.Kelly’s 22 episode epic Trapped in the Closet. Now, whether you remember it because it was good, or because it was too funny to forget, the important thing is that we all remember. R.Kelly has clearly cottoned on to this as he gears up to release the sequel.
Trapped in the Closet: The Next Installment is set to continue in the same hip hopera as its older brother, and today we have the official teaser for you to check out. Kelly has kept his cards close to his chest on this one, but we can be sure it will be the same condom finding, dude in the closet, pulling out your Baretta kinda time.
The whole drama will unfold this spring and has the US network IFC attached to host every episode. There will surely be another album to come with the tracks also, adding another chapter to R.Kelly’s ‘soulacoater‘ life.
