Last week Santigold revealed more details of her upcoming second album Master of My Make-Believe, after speaking in an interview with V Magazine. On the new album, she’s worked with Greg Kurstin, Switch, Dave Sitek and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, partly recording it in Jamaica.
Yet there’s still no mention of a release date for the album, however she is already previewing new songs at shows she’s currently playing in the US. You can watch videos for tracks Disparate Youth, God From the Machine and Big Mouth below.
It’s been 4 years since her debut self-titled album. She’s been busy working on the new LP with producer Pharrell Williams, as well as Diplo, Switch and Spank Rock.
In 2011, she appeared on the Beastie Boys album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, and was featured on the track Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win.
