Perth-based psych rockers Tame Impala just Let It Happen on US television, performing their recent single live on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show, Conan.
Killing time between Coachella weekends, Tame Impala delivered a slightly truncated version of the originally eight-minute-long hypnotic track, taken from their forthcoming third album Currents – the much anticipated follow up to their acclaimed 2012 album Lonerism.
Tame Impala will play the second Coachella weekend this Saturday (Friday in the US), and were just announced as one of the acts on the massive Splendour In The Grass 2015 lineup. Currents, which also features new single ‘Cause I’m a Man, does not yet have a release date, but is expected to drop later this year.
