WATCH: The Awkward Moment Stevie Nicks Thought Harry Styles Was From *NSYNC

The historic Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony has wrapped up for another year, with the 2019 proceedings seeing Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks honoured by superstar super-fan, Harry Styles.

The boyband graduate introduced the reigning queen of rock n’ roll with a speech about the magic of her music, revealing that ‘Dreams’ was the first song he ever learnt all the words to as a kid #nawwwwww

“Whenever you hear her voice, life gets a little bit better,” he told the crowd, calling Nicks a “magical gypsy godmother”.

“When she sings, the world is hers, and it is yours.”

But things got a little awkward during Nicks’ post-ceremony press conference, when she accidentally got a wee bit mixed up about which famous boyband Styles was from.

“Well, we met quite a long time ago actually,” she told reporters.

“And what I really loved about Harry, was that when he decided to make a solo record from *NSYNC, he chose to make… *NSYNC, not *NSYNC, sorry, I’m never gonna live that one down, I know that. One Direction. I liked One Direction too, so…”

But the awkward moment was undoubtedly overshadowed by Stevie belting out some of her iconic hits on the Rock Hall stage, including her beloved Tom Petty collab ‘Stop Draggin My Heart Around’, which Styles jumped up on stage for, filling in for the departed Heartbreakers’ leader.

Meanwhile ICYMI Radiohead, The Cure, Janet Jackson Def Leppard, Roxy Music and the Zombies were also inducted to the Rock Hall during this year’s ceremony.
