Fresh Prints: Will Smith Is Releasing His First Memoir, Co-written By Mark Manson

Actor, rapper and all-around talented guy Will Smith has just announced his first autobiography will hit bookshelves on November 9.

Dubbed simply Will, Smith’s foray into writing was co-penned by self-help author Mark Manson of The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck fame, and will seemingly be part memoir, part self-help book.

As per the official Amazon description, Will is “a brave and inspiring book” that charts Smith’s rise from West Philadelphia (born and raised) to the international super-famous Fresh Prince of the world that he is today.

The autobio is described as a “profound journey of self-knowledge, a reckoning with all that your will can get you and all that it can leave behind… Will tells the story in full of one of the most amazing rides through the worlds of music and film that anyone has ever had.”

In his own statement, Smith added: “It’s easy to maneuver the material world once you have conquered your own mind.

“Once you’ve learned the terrain of your own mind, every experience, every emotion, every circumstance, whether positive or negative, simply propels you forward, to greater growth and greater experience. That is true will. To move forward in spite of anything. And to move forward in a way that brings others with you, rather than leave them behind.”

You can pre-order Will at Amazon right now.
