English rockers Wolf Alice have announced a pair of intimate warm-up shows in Melbourne and Sydney ahead of their performances at Splendour in the Grass and Spin Off festival this month.
The Mercury Prize-winning four-piece will play at Howler in Melbourne on Tuesday, 16th July, performing at The Lansdowne in Sydney the following night before their festival dates later next week.
It’s far from the first jaunt down under for the band, who’ve appeared on the likes of Falls, Splendour and Laneway lineups over the past few years. Most recently, the band were here in September for headline shows.
In Melbourne, the band will be joined by rising indie-pop artist Candy, whose debut album Under the Weather was released late last year. In Sydney, Green Buzzard will get things started, after the songwriter re-emerged last month with new single ‘I Don’t Want to Be Alone’. It’s his first live show since 2017.
Tickets go on sale for these shows this Thursday, 11th July, at midday.
