WOMADelaide Lineup Expands With Miiesha, Kaiit And Siberian Tiger

WOMADelaide organisers have announced three more acts to the festival program ahead of it taking place this March in Adelaide’s King Rodney Park.

Recent Australian Music Prize nominee Miiesha and Kaiit will now perform before Tash Sultana on Sunday, 7th March. The two artists replace Sampa the Great, who cancelled her planned run of Afro Future shows (which included an appearance at WOMADelaide) last month.

The other new addition to the bill are locals Siberian Tiger, the duo of Bree Tranter of The Middle East and Chris Panousakis of Timberwolf. The band will open for the Teskey Brothers and Midnight Oil on Monday, 8th March.

“We are overjoyed to now have three incredibly talented artists – all in their early twenties, but who’ve already achieved so much – on the lineup for the Sunday night of the festival, each bringing their intensely personal stories and musical styles to the stage,” commented WOMADelaide Associate Director, Annette Tripodi, in a statement.
