Woman in a Coma After Taking a Fall at Robbie Williams’ Sydney Show

A woman who attended Robbie Williams‘ show at Allianz Stadium in Sydney last week (November 16) is in intensive care following a serious fall at the venue.

The Independent reports that the unidentified woman, who is believed to be in her seventies, was attempting to climb over rows of seats rather than using the stairs. Slipping, she fell down six rows and sustained considerable injuries to her head and face area. The incident apparently occurred shortly after 10pm, around the time that the show itself was finishing.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance confirmed that paramedics “treated her on scene” for her injuries, and proceeded to take her to nearby St. Vincent’s Hospital. The statement also noted that the woman was “in a critical condition”. A statement was also issued by a spokesperson for Venues NSW, who manage Allianz Stadium in Moore Park where Williams was performing.

“The patron was attended to immediately by venue staff and a nearby guest who is a qualified medical professional,” it read. “Medics arrived shortly after and the patron was taken from the venue by ambulance to hospital. We are working with NSW Police and will provide further updates as they become available.”

At the time of writing, neither Williams nor his representatives have publicly commented on the accident.

Williams is currently on tour through Australia as part of his ’25 Years Of Hits’ tour. He will perform in Melbourne’s AAMI Park for two consecutive nights, starting tomorrow, before heading to Geelong as part of the A Day on the Green concert series. The tour will conclude with a further two ADATG performances in Western Australia’s Swan Valley next week.
