World’s End Press Announce Debut Self-Titled Album, Cover Tame Impala

World’s End Press are making the most of their Friday, with the band greeting early morning risers to a performance on triple J’s Like A Version where they also took the opportunity to chat about their well-overdue self-titled full-length album.

The band has revealed via Facebook that the record will arrive on Friday, 4th October, and will be nothing short of an epic. World’s End Press explain that being brief was never part of the business plan, and they’ve gone all out with these tracks, some of which come in at over 10 minutes in length.

The band teamed up with Tim Goldsworthy (Cut Copy, Hercules & Love Affair, The Rapture) for the record which was tracked at both Welsh studio Rockfield and Massive Attack’s studio in Bristol, so plenty of good vibes have gone into the record.

You can check out the official album art and tracklist below and, as we can see, the band have kicked things off with To Send Our Love, a single released just moments before the band embarked on their national run of shows earlier this year.

To get you in the mood, we’ve also thrown in the below video of their Tame Impala cover from Like A Version this morning. Almost as if they’ve taken the LSD out of Elephant and replaced it with some MDMA, World’s End Press put a totally fresh, minimal house spin on the international hit.
