The Wu Tang Clan have decided to add a show to their forthcoming tour of Australia, as previously reported on these pages.
Triple J reports that the crew have added another Sydney show to cater for fans who missed out on their sold-out show at the Enmore Theatre on August 5. The new show will take place at the same venue on the day before, August 4.
And that appears to be it as far as new shows go, with promoters admitting, “there are only an extremely limited number of tickets left in Melbourne and Perth, with no further shows to be announced.”
At present, Wu Tang Clan are gearing up for an appearance at this year’s Glastonbury this weekend before heading to mainland Europe for shows there, taking them into July. They have a short break before making the trip down under.
The Enmore shows and the concert in Melbourne will see Wu Tang accompanied by Phaze One, while in Perth they will be supported by Vents.
The Wu Tang Clan’s Rebirth Australian tour now looks like this:
Thursday August 4, Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Friday August 5, Enmore Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Saturday August 6, Festival Hall, Melbourne, VIC
Sunday August 7, Perth, Metro City, WA
