Jack White Joined Pearl Jam Onstage At Surprise Third Man Records Show

Pearl Jam are part of a massive host of acts set to play Bonnaroo festival this weekend, and the legendary US rockers decided to play a surprise warm up gig at Third Man Records in Nashville to get themselves in the zone.

The venue itself hinted at the possibility, and as if on cue the band called Third Man Records founder Jack White up on stage at the start of their three-song encore, beginning with an extended version of their track Of The Earth.

In front of a tiny crowd, with less than 200 people in attendance, Pearl Jam played a 10-song set including a cover of Pink Floyd’s Interstellar Overdrive, as well as Corduroy, Pendulum, Deep, Hard To Imagine and Let Me Sleep.

Third Man Records posted a thank you note to Pearl Jam on their Facebook which read, “Our most sincere appreciation and admiration to Pearl Jam, who joined us for a live direct-to-acetate recording in the Blue Room this evening before their Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival headline set tomorrow. They may have even gained an extra guitarist for a song.”

Catch snaps from the set here below and stay tuned for footage as it comes to hand.
