Laneway Festival Adds A+ Final Act To 2017 Lineup

Laneway Festival begins in less than a month, with the touring festival set to kick off in Brisbane on Thursday, 26th January.

Now the slowly rolling ball of additions to the main lineup has come to a holt, with organisers announcing that the final act added will be ARIA Award-winning psych geniuses King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, who will play all dates of Laneway 2017.

Fresh from playing their very own touring festival Gizzfest, King Gizz are set to drop a mammoth five studio albums in 2017, and recently dropped a track called ‘Nuclear Fusion’, the second tune from their next album, Flying Microtonal Banana.

King Gizzard join other last minute Laneway additions Young Thug and D.D Dumbo, who’ve been added since The Julie Ruin pulled out of their place on the bill.

You can check out the lineup and touring dates below, and also get around all the official Laneway 2017 sideshows here.

UPDATE 18/01/17: Young Thug has pulled out of Laneway Festival 2017, and has been replaced by Dune Rats. Updated lineup below.
