Perth duo Slumberjack have returned with a bangin’ new single called ‘Fracture’, and it features the crystal clear vocal chops of singer-songwriter Celia Pavey, AKA Vera Blue.
‘Fracture’ (below) sees Slumberjack pair eastern melodies with some heavy-as-hell drum kicks, as Pavey’s vocals glide over the top. The trio behind the track have already performed it at a bunch of Aussie festivals, just to make sure that it’s a legit crowd-pleaser, and the studio version sounds just as tight.
Pavey has previously collaborated with the likes of Sydney producer Flume, Empire Of The Sun’s Nick Littlemore and rapper Illy.
‘Fracture’ follows on from Slumberjack’s 2016 singles ‘RA’ and ‘Open Fire’ feat. Silverchair’s Daniel Johns. Stream the track in full, below.
