There’s been an outpouring of support from locals following the tragic death of 28-year-old stuntman Joahann Ofner on the Brisbane set of Bliss N Eso’s new music video.
As police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his fatal shooting, Aussies have raised thousands of dollars to support the loved ones that the man affectionately known as “Yogi” has left behind.
Two crowdfunding pages have cumulatively raised more than $55K for the stuntman’s grieving family, with a Go Fund Me set up by Yogi’s mate Johno MacNeil smashing its $20K goal in less than 24 hours. At the time of writing, the bean-counter sits at $21.3K

Johann leaves behind a six-year-old daughter Kyarna, whose beyond-thankful mum Samaya Grace says she’ll use the funds to make sure her little one’s life stays as normal as possible in the wake of their loss:
Johann was a professional stuntman who was due to appear on Channel Nine’s reality tv show Australian Ninja Warrior later this year.
Bliss N Eso’s management have confirmed that he was “tragically fatally injured when a prop gun was discharged” while filming a scene for the group’s new single, Friends Like You at Brisbane’s Brooklyn Strand bar on Monday, adding that “the gun was loaded with blanks, not live ammunition”.
Ofner shared some foreboding photos of the deadly prop on social media prior to his tragic death.
Reacting to the incident, Bliss N Eso said they were “upset and shaken up”, and sent love and prayers to the victim’s family and friends, as well as the cast and crew who were involved in the clip.
Police say they haven’t ruled out criminal charges as they continue their investigations into the incident.
