Jet frontman Nic Cester has shared some juicy tasters of his debut solo music, ahead of his upcoming solo shows and forthcoming debut solo album.
Cester and his Italian backing band The Milano Elettrica have shared a couple of clips online (below), which show that Cester’s solo tunes are packing bluesy Jet-style melodies and guitar solos, but some more exotic instrumentation than Jet’s typical meat-and-three-veg setup.
Cester has been working on his debut solo album while travelling the world and living between Germany and Italy. The record is expected to be released later this year, but until then, listen to the first snippets of his solo material, below.
Cester and The Milano Elettrica will perform at Bluesfest this month, and will also play headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
