China’s Biggest EDM Festival, Storm, Reveals 2017 Aussie Date

UPDATE: The First-Ever Storm Festival Australia Has Been Cancelled

ORIGINAL STORY: China’s biggest EDM Festival, Storm, has revealed details of its expansion into Australia by dropping a date for its Aussie debut.

The festival will officially hit Sydney on Saturday, 9th December, but the exact location of the event is still to be announced.

Storm announced its Australian plans in May this year, giving local EDM fans the heads up about the event’s first party outside of mainland China.

We’re expecting local and international acts on Storm’s still-to-be-announced Aussie lineup, given that it has previously hosted the likes of Tiesto, Avicii, Skrillex, RL Grime, Alesso, Hardwell, Duke Dumont and Booka Shade.

Storm’s expansion into Australia comes as EDM mega-festival Ultra prepares for its debut Australian events, while other dance events Sensation and Creamfields are preparing to return down under.
