Meg Mac Announces Third Album ‘Matter Of Time’, Shares New Single

Meg Mac has announced details of her third studio album, Matter Of Time. It’s the singer’s first longer-form release since 2019’s mini-album, HopeMatter Of Time is set for release on Friday, 16th September. Mac has shared a new single from the album, the gorgeous pop offering, ‘Letter’. Mac just wrapped up a sold-out tour in support of the album’s previous single, ‘Only Love’.

Matter Of Time was recorded after Mac scrapped what was supposed to be her third album, and relocated to the NSW southern highlands to start from scratch. Matter Of Time, says the singer, represents an album where “for the first time, I really feel in control.”

Meg Mac – ‘Letter’

‘Letter’ is a hint of what is to come from Meg Mac. The track was produced by Dylan Nash (Dean Lewis) and the composition is built upon strong piano melodies, which amplify Mac’s dynamic voice.

Matter Of Time features contributions from production duo The Donuts (Kendrick Lamar), as well some choice songwriting collaborations with PJ Harding (Noah Cyrus) and Jesse Shatkin (Sia). The album’s first single, ‘Is It Worth Being Sad’, came out in March; ‘Only Love’ followed in May.
