BIGSOUND Conference Tickets Officially Sold Out

This year’s BIGSOUND is gearing up to be a massive year for the event. Word has come through from TheMusic.com.au that tickets to the BIGSOUND Conference have now sold out.

The Conference arm of the festival includes guest speakers such as Steve Earle, Ben Lee, Peter Noble, Ken West, and other key music industry people, both local and from abroad.

There are, however, still tickets available to the live music arm. BIGSOUND Live has an equally as impressive lineup, with names such as Claire Bowditch, Violent Soho, and Ball Park Music appearing at venues through out Brissy over the two-day event.

After news that tickets were gone, Executive Programmer Graham Ashton stated: “It’s amazing news that the BIGSOUND Conference is now sold out for 2012, but we all know the event is about live music and adding more tickets to BIGSOUND Live today means that even more people still have the opportunity to discover their next favourite band.”

Feeds will be live on the ground (woo, road trip!) for both BIGSOUND days, (Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 September) which will take place throughout Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. We will have plenty of live updates, interviews and reviews for your reading pleasure.

According to TheMusic.com.au Tix will set you back around $45 plus booking fee for one night (60 bands) or $69 plus booking fee for both nights (120 bands). Queensland residents who purchase BIGSOUND Live tickets will also go into the draw to win a return flight for 2 people to Los Angeles with Virign Australia. Entry is automatic when you buy tickets.
