Swedish House Mafia To Announce World Tour Tomorrow

Over the past seven years the trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello have achieved everything any EDM act has ever dreamed of. From being the first DJs to ever sell out the iconic Madison Square Garden and then going on to headline our very own Future Music Festival in addition to Tomorrowland and Coachella, the success of the Swedish trio is unparalleled.

Yet several weeks ago, just prior to their groundbreaking performance at England’s Milton Keynes Bowl, the band announced that they would be parting ways – news which shocked the Electronic music world. In celebration of their sensational career, the three will be embarking on one last tour, to be announced tomorrow.

In their true fashion, the band’s management have organised cryptic clues around the world, hinting at possible locations for some of their last performances, posting photographs from Europe, America and the Middle East. Unfortunately with the announcement coming in a matter of hours, no ‘DOT SPOTS’ have occurred within Australia, meaning that they may not be coming Down Under for one last hurrah. In addition to the impending tour announcement, one last compilation mix will be released. Spanning over 22 tracks, the album will be titled Until Now and will act as the soundtrack to the tour.

‘Dot Spot’ Sightings

Although chances of one last Australian tour are slim, it would be selfish of us not to address the clues left across the world, outside quite intimate venues and illuminating historic landmarks with their signature circles. Although nothing is confirmed, it is now only a matter of hours until all is revealed.

Regardless of where they play, the colossal power which is Swedish House Mafia is sure to sell out any venue, anywhere. After which, the three EDM icons will part ways and pursue their solo careers in addition to collaborations with other artists. With no certainty as to what they will do next, only one thing is for sure: after the dust has settled and they part ways, it will become clear that they achieved their goal. They came, they raved, they loved.
