1. Grab Some Grub

Food wise, Fairgrounds is bringing together boutique brewers, local producers and food trucks like Bovine & Swine Barbecue Co, The Crepe & Coffee Co and Mama Linh’s Vietnamese Street Food.

Fairgrounds Garden Bar will be rockin some locally sourced gourmet treats, with the festival’s Village Markets featuring cakes, donuts, popcorn, beef jerky and more.

The kids will be sweet for food too, with Werri Beach’s Mr Bridger’s Of London Fields on hand and the Little Fairgrounds kids’ area running children’s activities and entertainment.

2. Grab Some Drinks

Fairgrounds will have a stack of beverage pros on hand, including the Allpress Coffee Caravan, local wine-makers Silos Estate, craft brew geniuses Young Henrys and more.

3. Cool Off In The Pool

Yep, Fairgrounds has a pool, which will definitely come in handy in those festival moments (we’ve all been there) when you just want to chill out and cool off.

4. Do Some Crate Digging

Fairgrounds is playing host to its own record fair, which will feature the latest releases from artists on its lineup, as well as an Inertia Music pop-up store and some second vinyl sellers.

5. Catch A Free Movie (Or Two)

The Friday night before Fairgrounds Festival will see Madman Entertainment present Fairgrounds’ Cinema Under The Stars, screening the Studio Ghibli’s classic My Neighbor Totoro at 6:30pm and the Academy Award-winning documentary about Rodriguez, Searching For Sugar Man, at 8:30pm.
