Active Child is currently creating and planning a tour of churches around the world.
In a backstage interview at the Sydney’s Laneway Festival on the weekend, Pat Grossi, the brainchild behind the band, told Music Feeds that Active Child will not play in usual live music venues for their next tour. They are currently in talks with some religious institutions to get permission to hold gigs within churches. Pat says, “We want to take people out of the traditional venues and really bring a new vibe to the show that carries our sound so well”.
Pat told Music Feeds he is also looking into bringing the Philadelphia Boys Choir (which he was part of for most of his childhood) on stage to perform with the band, and maybe even some live strings and bells.
