Adele’s ‘Hello’ Gets Halloween Parody From James Corden & Billy Eichner

If you’re still scrolling through Hotline Bling memes and parodies on this here internet, I’ve got some bad news for you. Hotline Bling memes are dead, and Hello parodies are the new meme-du-jour. Get with the fricken’ times alright?

Adele’s long-awaited return to music is already being heralded as one of the songs of the year, smashing old mate Tay Tay’s Vevo record for most video views in 24-hours and going straight to the top of my “Feels” playlist on iTunes (two equally important milestones.) And because the internet moves at the rapturous pace of meme-speed Hello is in and Hotline Bling is out. RIP Drizzy.

The Late Late Show’s James Corden, who continues to impress as the show’s new host, such as with his ever-enjoyable Carpool Karaoke series, has made one of the first Hello parodies to make its way into our subconscious, joined by the insanely funny Billy Eichner, of Billy on the Street and Parks and Rec fame.

Taking the spooky season as its inspiration, Corden and Eichner’s Hello pisstake sees the pair attempt to reunite their Trick or Treat troop, which has come under some hard times.

Chewy outfit on point, but fuck, even with Corden’s legitimately impressive vocals, no one can do Adele’s vocals but Adele. Semi-ear torture below, you have been warned.
