Anberlin Announce Australia-Wide Tour For September 2013

Written by Mike Hohnen on June 6, 2013

Having raised the bar impossibly high with their last run of Australian tour dates, Anberlin have just announced they will be returning to Australia this September for a tour that promises to be just as amazing, and they’re bringing along some incredible guests in The Maine and William Beckett from The Academy Is…

Whether you saw them performing the main stage at Soundwave or at a tiny, packed-out club show, fans all walked away with the same sensation. Known for their ability to create a sense of intimacy amongst even the biggest crowds, Anberlin’s live shows are talked about for months after. With brand new album Vital, and a back catalogue bursting with anthems, these will be mind-blowing shows for old fans and new.

Last time they were in the country, the band ventured into uncharted waters with shows comprised of acoustic performances, covers, fan requests and even Q&As live at the shows. Following their performance, the band could be found at their merch table, happily chatting with fans and posing for photos.

Joining them on their return will be The Maine, who have also performed here before but are yet to showcase their latest album Forever Halloween Down Under. Opening all shows will be William Beckett who has collected a massive following with his outfit The Academy Is… and is experiencing similar success as a one-man army.

Tickets on sale 9am Friday, 14th June.
