Bon Jovi To Tour Australia December 2013 (Update: Dates And Venues Announced)

Bon Jovi are set to bring their Because We Can world tour to Australia in December.

According to Channel 7’s Sunday Night program, the band will play in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. However, specific dates and venues are yet to be revealed.

The band first gave us a hint they were coming to our shores back in October, when initial details of the destinations for the Beacuse We Can World Tour were announced.

Bon Jovi last toured Australia in December 2010 as part of their huge The Circle World Tour – which took in stadiums in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, along with an ‘intimate’ gig at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. This time around, it looks like Perth is missing out, and Adelaide gets a show after being bypassed in 2010.

When the band announced the UK leg of the Because We Can tour late last year (to take place in June) – a selection of seats in the stadiums only cost £12.50 ($20 AUD). Wonder if Jon, Richie and co. will be just as generous and implement the penny-pinching deal here?

Bon Jovi released their brand new album What About Now last week. Listen to the single Because We Can here.
