The Download Festival Australia Website Is Now Live (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Korn, Limp Bizkit, Prophets Of Rage & More For Download Festival Australia

ORIGINAL STORY: The website for Download Festival Australia has been brought to life this morning, and it suggests the festival will be making its Australian debut in Melbourne in 2018.

Touring company Live Nation purchased the Australian domain name for Download Festival last year, and the website finally went live this morning. While the homepage of the site remains blank, the title of the page reads, “Download Festival Australia | Melborne [sic] 2018,” with Melbourne spelled incorrectly. (UPDATE: The website now appears to be offline)

The landing page for the site also mentions tour promoters Unified and Secret Sounds, but also misspells Melbourne:

Music Feeds has contacted Live Nation, Unified and Secret Sounds for comment.
