Feelings aka Simon Berkfinger (formally of Philadelphia Grand Jury) will re-introduce himself to punters with a tour around Australia’s East Coast and Adelaide next month.
Armed with his ‘sexpop’-flavoured new single Intercourse, Berkfinger will be joined on tour by two other live band members – Dappled Cities’ Dave Rennick and Art vs. Science’ Dan Williams.
Described as a track that is “guaranteed to turn strangers into friends” Intercourse will be made available for download on iTunes from January 25. You can listen to the track at the bottom of the page.
Intercourse is a follow-up to Feelings’ debut single One in a Million – with both songs to appear on his debut album, which is set for release in mid-2013.
“After the last band broke up, I was staying on my friends’ living room floor and only writing grunge tunes,” Berkfinger said.
“I deleted most of them. Now it’s more freaky. Freaky grunge if anything. But I’d rather talk about Brian Eno than Kurt Cobain.”
