Did Field Day Just Tease Two More Acts On Its 2018 Lineup?

UPDATE: Field Day has now announced its 2018 lineup in full.

ORIGINAL STORY: Field Day is just a bee’s dick away from announcing its full lineup for 2018, after revealing homegrown producer Golden Features as the first act on this summer’s bill.

But organisers Fuzzy may have just hinted at two more acts joining the Zorro of Aussie DJs onstage at the upcoming Sydney New Years Day bash, thanks to a new teaser video that’s just hit the internet.

As well as getting us well HYPED for next year’s chase-away-the-hangover party, the video is also casually soundtracked by two random artists’ songs — namely Mura Masa’s ‘Firefly’ ft. NAO and Set Mo‘s  ‘I Belong Here’.

As triple j points out, London producer Mura Masa makes perfect sense to feature on the Field Day lineup, since he’s already headed down under for a bunch of other New Years fests like Origin NYE in WA and Beyond The Valley in VIC (no NSW date though… COINCIDENCE?!)

While Sydney duo Set Mo are also playing the Fuzzy-presented festival Harbourlife in November, so a return to Sydney for Field Day 2018 shouldn’t be a stretch.

Field Day will return to The Domain on 1st January. See what you make of its latest teaser below, and catch the full lineup on Music Feeds when it drops next Tuesday, 29th January.
