Frank Ocean’s Updated His Website With A Live Stream Suggesting He’s Up To Something

UPDATE 05/08/16: Frank Ocean has reappeared on his Boys Don’t Cry live stream on the day the album is expected to be released. He appears to be building a set of stairs.

UPDATE 02/08/16 8.38am: According to reports, Frank Ocean is set to release his long-awaited new album this week.

Original Story: Fans were hoping that Frank Ocean would drop his project by the end of July and while the month is over nearly everywhere in the world it looks like he may be up to something.

He’s updated his website with what looks to be a live stream of a room with a couple of desks in it. There’s literally nothing going on right now but there’s an Apple Music logo in the top right hand corner which suggests that he’s launching something on the Apple streaming platform.

If it’s not that, then this is yet another false alarm to send his fans, who are already going nuts, into meltdown once again. They have been eagerly waiting for a follow-up to 2012’s near-perfect Channel Orange since he originally set the release date for the new record as July 2015.

That date obviously came and went but then a mysterious library slip posted on his Tumblr suggested that the new release date was July 2016.

Either way, it’s going to be a very interesting few hours as we watch what Frank is up to.

If you’re having trouble seeing the stream below is a screenshot of exactly what it looks like.

UPDATE 19/08/16: Frank Ocean is playing new music on the live stream.
