Harbour Party NYE 2012 First Lineup Announcement

Written by Mike Hohnen on September 25, 2012

Of all the potential NYE plans you’ve got running through your head, few will put you smack bam in the middle of the madness quite like Harbour Party will. Located at the heart of Sydney’s NYE celebration, the iconic Luna Park, Harbour Party will also be showcasing local and international pop and R&B, with plenty of retro, house, techno and electronic music DJs to smash in the new year.

Organisers behind Harbour Party plan on teasing us with their musical selection, handing down today the initial release of artists set to appear on the night. So far, we know that Australian princess of pop Ricki-Lee will be bringing her latest album Fear and Freedom with her for an exclusive show taking place at the Big Top.

Making the trip down from London will be Martin Priest, who has recently released his mini-album, Beats & Blips. Priest will be joined by fellow countryperson Luciana as well as local heroes The Aston Shuffle – returning to the stage with a revamped live show just for Harbour Party – and DJ Ivan Gough finishing off the initial lineup announcement.

If all that music goodness isn’t enough for you, let it be known that tickets to the event also include use of all the rides and attractions located at Luna Park. How’s that for a sticking point?

Keep those eyes peeled for the next lineup additions! Ticketing information can be found below, and everything else can be found on the Harbour Party website.
