The HILLTOP HOODS’ phenomenal success looks set to continue as the trio get ready to drop their fifth album “State Of The Art” this coming June.

With a rich catalogue of songs delivered in that distinctive HOODS’ way, chock full of nimble flows and stunning beats, HILLTOP HOODS live by an ethos that is all about innovation. They are continuously singled out as one of Australia’s hottest live acts by press, industry insiders and fans alike, with a reputation for stand out Festival shows and sell out national headline tours.

The HOODS’ extraordinary success with their 4th album, “The Hard Road”, saw it debut at number 1 on the ARIA Album chart, and win them 2 ARIA Awards in the process. It also scored them a J Award – Winner for ‘Best Australian Album’. The follow up “The Hard Road: Restrung”, which incorporated the 31 piece Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, also took home the 2007 ARIA Award for Best Urban Release.

Now HILLTOP HOODS fans can brace themselves for a new chapter as the band get ready to serve up a brand new album titled “State Of The Art” on June 12th. The album, the first on their newly created own label Golden Era Records, shows how much they’ve grown in both stature and skill over the last twelve years.

The first taste from the new album is ‘Chase That Feeling’. Released on May 8th “Chase That Feeling”, features a return guest appearance by a quartet of members from the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

Also keep your eyes peeled for the new HILLTOP HOODS clip – the ‘Chase That Feeling’ video will have its worldwide premiere on the You Tube homepage on Friday May 1st.
