ICYMI: There are whispers that a certain massive Aussie rock group from the noughties are gearing up for a reunion in 2017.
That band is Jet, and until now they’ve stayed pretty mum while the gossip girls over at Fairfax have been spreading all kinds of rumours about the iconic Melbourne rawkers getting set to reform next year to support Da Baws Bruce Springsteen on his yet-to-be-announced Aussie tour.
But now the band have posted what has been widely and enthusiastically construed as cryptic confirmation that the reunion rumours are true.
Jet have posted a teaser on Facebook tonight, in the form of a vintage clip of them performing their monster hit Are You Gonna Be My Girl? at what appears to be the Big Day Out circa 2004.
Alongside the clip, they posted the message: “Come Around Again …..?”
The resounding answer from legions of fans:
Are Jet ready to Get Born, again?

UPDATE 13/09/216: The rumours have all been confirmed with Jet being announced as main support for The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen on the forthcoming 2017 tour.
