Kurt Vile Announces Debut Australian Solo Tour

US singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Kurt Vile has locked in a series of Australian shows for 2017.

Having already been in the country earlier this year with his band The Violators, Vile will return for a run of solo dates, including shows as part of both the Melbourne Zoo Twilights and Twilight At Taronga open-air concert series.

Vile has also been announced on the lineup for the 11th annual Golden Plains Festival in Meredith, alongside the likes of Nicolas Jaar, Total Giovanni and Camp Cope, and to top it all off he’ll also play a headline show at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane.

His Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows will be supported by one of Australia’s most distinctive guitarists and one of Vile’s good mates, Mick Turner.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now. Details below.

UPDATE 20/12/16: Kurt Vile has added a new show to his 2017 Australian tour, heading to Meeniyan Town Hall on Sunday, 5th March. Details below.
