Linkin Park, Godsmack + More For Soundwave 2013?

Written by John Ritchie on May 16, 2012

It’s only May but the rumours are starting to flow thick and fast for the highly anticipated Soundwave 2013 lineup. Triple M’s Higgo has now suggested that Linkin Park and Godsmack could be amongst the 2013 headliners.

Festival Boss AJ Maddah certainly hasn’t been keeping tight lipped either letting slip that Chelsea Grin were “very good odds to play.”

Other bands have also been leaking acts: Dez Fafara tweeted that Six Feet Under had already been booked for the SW 2013 lineup.

Update 27/06/2012:
Godsmack have been ruled out. They were 99% booked but it didn’t come through

Other possibilities for the 2013 lineup include: Billy Talent, Papa Roach, Will We Came as Romans, The Devil Wears Prada, Miss May I and Blood on the Dancefloor.

Bands that have been 100% ruled out of playing Soundwave 2013 include: Rammstein, YMAS, Rage Against The Machine, Biffy Clyro, Avenged Sevenfold and The Damned Things.
