Lupe Fiasco’s 2018 Australian Tour Has Been Cancelled

Written by Emmy Mack on December 16, 2017

Lupe Fiasco has pulled the pin on his forthcoming Australian Tour.

The controversial rapper was supposed to hit our shores in January of 2018 to perform his classic debut album Food & Liquor in full, but has axed his dates in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth due to “scheduling and logistical issues”.

A statement from promoters Select Touring, Blue Murder and slingshot reads: “[We] regret to advise that due to scheduling and logistical issues out of the promoters control, Lupe Fiasco’s Australian and NZ tour has been cancelled.

“Lupe Fiasco hopes to secure new tour dates in the near future.”

Fans who already bought tickets online or via phone will be automatically refunded within 15 working days, while those who bought tickets with cash or EFTPOS will need to post their tickets back to Ticketek at the following address for a full cheque refund:

And if you’re posting your tickets back, they want you to “include a small note outlining the request” as well.

This time, the show does not go on for Lupe Fiasco.
