Mayday Parade Release New Single ‘Ghosts’ From Upcoming LP ‘Monsters In The Closet’

Following on from the announcement of their forthcoming full-length Monsters In The Closet, Floridian pop rock heroes Mayday Parade have released the first single off the release titled Ghosts.

Ghosts pays homage to the way relationships can haunt you long after they’re in the pas. Ha, I hear that. The track also features the beloved Mayday Parade gang vocals and the rarely seen Mayday Parade shred, perhaps even their most shredtacular effort to date.

The band’s penchant for tales of heartache have successfully made the jump from their previous albums, the latest being their self-titled 2011 effort, though when you’re as good at telling sad tales as these cats are, I don’t think anyone wants them to stop.

Given the band’s status as Soundwave alumni, not all hope is gone for an appearance on the second lineup announcement for that festival, or perhaps even a spot on the next Warped Tour Australia lineup. It doesn’t take much to twist Mayday Parade’s arm into touring Down Under, so either way you can probably expect a tour announcement should come soon.

The album is yet to be given an Australian release date, but we can prepare for the Australian drop on Friday, 11th October.
