Mayday Parade Will Tour Their Self-Titled 2011 Album Around The Country Next Year

Florida pop punk heroes Mayday Parade have announced their return to Australia in 2022. The band will be heading over here to perform their self-titled album in full, with some fan favourites thrown in for good measure too.

They’ll be playing six shows whilst down under in order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the album’s release.

Released in 2011, the band’s self-titled album was their third full-length. To this day, it remains one of the band’s most successful records, featuring singles like ‘Stay’ and ‘Oh Well, Oh Well’.

Though the album was released back in 2011, the band’s plans to announce the tour were delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The tour will kick off in Fremantle on Wednesday, 20th April, before hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide over the following week. The tour will wrap up with two shows in Melbourne; the first being an 18+ show, with the final show being all ages.

Illinois band Real Friends and Perth’s Those Who Dream will be along for all six dates.

Tickets go on sale next Tuesday, 2nd November at 9AM local time via Destroy All Lines. If you’re a keen bean and want to get those sweet pre-sale tickets, you can cop them via mailing list pre-sale from 9AM local time this Friday, 29th October.

The band are currently gearing up to release their seventh record What It Means To Fall Apart on Friday, 19th November via BMG.
