Peats Ridge Festival has today further embellished an already glowing lineup for this year’s instalment of the event. Organisers have today handed down an eclectic mix of local and international talent spanning all corners of the music universe.
Further representing the Techno side of things will be UK’s Luke Slater, and praised US Techno/House producer Theo Parrish, who will be unleashing his internationally recognised twisted rendition of soul and dance classics. Hailing from New York City, Young Magic will be bringing a show fairly unique to Aussie stages, drawing on West African rhythms, brain-feeder hip hop, UK bass and 60’s psychedelic soul to create their sound.
Local flavour will be injected by the likes of Hey Geronimo and their trumpeting styles, as well as The Griswalds and Sydney’s own Winter People, with many more.
Says event organiser Matt Grant of the new additions, “We’ve been dropping some pretty eclectic lineups over the years, but this time we’ve really excelled ourselves. I’m completely excited by the diversity and quality of what we’ve pulled together, we’ve spent an enormous amount of time working on it to make sure we give our patrons the absolute best musical experience they could possibly have this New Years. Peats is renowned for the quality and diversity of our music lineup, we’re not just about music, we’re about the BEST music.”
