Postal Service Reunion And Reissue Rumours (Almost) Confirmed

The Postal Service have updated their official website and reinvigorated speculation that the Californian electro-pop duo will reunite in 2013. The band’s site now simply reads “The Postal Service 2013” (as pictured above) and in turn has the gossip mill once again working overtime.

Earlier this month, rumours began to circulate that The Postal Service would reform to perform at Coachella 2013. With the updated site, various corners of the internet are guessing that a reissue of The Postal Service’s one and only record, 2003’s Give Up, is in the works to celebrate the album’s 10th anniversary.

According to Billboard, storied record label Sub Pop is preparing a deluxe edition of Give Up for release in February. As noted by Billboard, The Postal Service’s Give Up is the second-highest selling album released through Sub Pop, behind Nirvana’s 1989 debut Bleach.
