The very first Stone Music Festival has revealed its full line-up and timetable for the 2-day event, which takes place on the weekend of 20th-21st April. For the inaugural event, Stone Music has pulled together an impressive line-up headlined by none other than Van Halen, Aerosmith and Billy Joel.
Other notable acts include Australian musical institutions Icehouse and Jimmy Barnes, whose Cold Chisel bandmate Ian Moss is also sharing the bill. Will the two get on stage together and share a little Cheap Wine? Music Feeds says maybe…
With other bands like The Living End and the reformed Superjesus on the cards, Stone Music Festival may look solid on paper, but the festival has been marred by conflict between organisers and promoters. The festival even went so far as to contact music media outlet Tone Deaf and request their articles covering the turmoil be removed or amended otherwise legal action would be taken.
