If you’re a fan of Taking Back Sunday, you’ve no doubt heard of their current US tour being held in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of their gangbusters album Tell All Your Friends. Well, it’s now looking as though the band has plans to take the madness overseas, which could mean Australia.
It’s not so much the 10 year mark that’s gotten fans so excited about the tour, but more so the lineup. Bringing with them some of the biggest names in pop-punk, Soundwave alumni Bayside are slotted in as mains support for the bulk of the shows, with Mansions, Man Overboard and Transit also performing.
So when the band responded with “you never know…” when a fan tweeted that they should take the tour international, that’s the lineup that will hopefully be coming with them. You may note that some of those bands are already scheduled to be in town soon for Soundwave 2013.
Taking Back Sunday weren’t in town that long ago, only performing here back in April; however, that was a co-headlining bill with New Found Glory.
