Trent Reznor Says Nine Inch Nails Will Return With New Music Next Year

Merry Christmas Nine Inch Nails fans.

Trent Reznor has gifted you with some good news this festive season, confirming that the band will be back in action next year.

Rezdawgs recently took some time off from churning out industrial rock epics, after taking up the reigns as music curator for Beats Music and Apple Music.

But it looks like he’s about ready to dust off the cobwebs and hit the studio once again, with the frontman taking to Twitter to drop the good news down our proverbial chimneys:

NIN’s last studio effort was 2013’s Hesitation Marks, which you may recall saw the band embark on an extensive world tour, which also brought them here to Australia with Queens Of The Stone Age in 2014.

Perhaps Reznor & co’s latest Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame snub had something to do with their sudden comeback plans?

Either way, fingers crossed for another Aus tour some time soon!

And as a Christmas bonus, here’s an archive clip of Reznor appearing on MTV’s Christmas Special in 1989 for you to enjoy.
