Trent Reznor Speaks About Nine Inch Nails Return

Trent Reznor has spoken about his plans to reunite with band members of Nine Inch Nails after spending the past few years working on soundtracks for films, including the Social Network soundtrack, which he won an Oscar for.

In an interview with Billboard, Reznor stated “I’m going to be writing for Nine Inch Nails this year,” he continued to say that he doesn’t “have any particular goal in mind other than … my voice as a songwriter feels like it needs to speak up or at least work out a little bit to not atrophy. I think I have something to say that feels unique to who I am right now, and that’s when it tells me it’s time to do something.”

Reznor continued to inform Billboard how he was not sure what form the songs would take, or if this could be a different direction from the old Nine Inch Nails, possibly diverging from their Starfuckers Inc. phase with Marilyn Manson.

Nine Inch Nails in its live form played its final show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles in 2009. The following month, excess touring equipment appeared on eBay.

It’s easy to suspect that any new NIN material might be online download releases and other various material (Video etc.).
