Trent Reznor Working With Queens Of The Stone Age

Trent Reznor has revealed that he is working with the Queens of the Stone Age on a new song. According to Antiquiet, the news came from the Nine Inch Nails / How to Destroy Angels mastermind during a Reddit Q&A session.

When asked by an inquisitive fan: “Aside from destroy angel’s new EP, what’s next for you?”

Reznor replied: “A number of things. Tweaking some things for the HTDA full LP (coming in Spring), helping Josh out on a new QOTSA track, working with Roy, starting rehearsals for two bands.”

Antiquiet also notes that this is not the first time Reznor and QOTSA frontman Josh Homme have collaborated. The pair worked together on the title track for QOTSA 2007 album Era Vulgaris, although the song wasn’t included on the original release.

It sure seems like fans are in for a special album from Queens of the Stone Age next year. In addition to Reznor helping out with a new track, Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl will be helping with the entire record. It was announced recently that Grohl will be returning to drum for QOTSA after the departure of long-standing QOTSA member Joey Castillo.

Meanwhile Reznor recently confirmed that new music from NIN is in the works, having just released How to Destroy Angels’ new EP Omen.
