Two Door Cinema Club ‘Sleep Alone’ – 24 Hour Giveaway

Written by Brayden Darke on July 20, 2012

Two Door Cinema Club will be releasing their highly anticipated second album Beacon this September. In the lead-up to its release they will be giving away their newest single Sleep Alone for free, but you’ll have 24 hours to do it! The single will be released digitally on 21st July.

Beacon will be their follow-up to 2010’s Tourist History, which they toured on when they visited Australia last year. The new album was recorded in LA this past April with acclaimed producer Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, U2, REM) in his home studios.

Frontman Alex Trimble has spoken about the change between writing and recording their first album saying: “Beacon is a much more intimate record than our first, but at the same time, it’s much bigger and more inclusive. Trying to find that balance has been our goal for a long time and this record takes us one step closer to the band we’ve dreamt of becoming.”

You can download Sleep Alone right now from twodoorcinemaclub.com, for the next 24 hours. Beacon will get its Australian release on 7th September; hopefully we can expect some summer shows to follow.
