To celebrate the release of their self-titled sophomore album today, LA’s Warpaint have announced a very special Laneway 2014 sideshow date to be held in a secret location in Sydney.
The show is set to take place in an “eerie yet beautiful” location, somewhere in the inner western suburbs of Sydney on Wednesday, 5th February, with a very limited number of tickets on sale now. Ticket-holders will be notified of the location on the day by e-mail and text message.
This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to catch this singular outfit spin their kaleidoscopic webs of indie noise in an equally unique and delicate setting. The band’s latest album has been garnering praise, with Music Feeds‘ Tom Williams calling it “a nuanced record about love, mortality, sleep, confusion and certainty,” and Aussie fans are raring to see the four-piece onstage.
